What would the debt be without the two tax breaks for the rich during the first G.W. Bush term and the one during the first Trump term.
Bill Clinton left office with budget surpluses and the debt leveling off. This has been an overwhelmingly Republican catastrophe this century.
America was on track to ELIMINATE the debt before Bush exploded the deficit by starting two wars and slashing taxes for the rich.
I would love to see this plotted out. It's a shame we can't submit inquiries directly to the Congressional Budget Office.
Dems need to get some official/professional confirmation of this and then message the findings in fiscally moderate districts.
